Pipeline Extra Lenses
Stoked to have clear lenses on a dependable Pipeline frame for night riding and cloudy days!
I’m wearing the pipeline goggles with pipeline low light lens. When I crash the outer lens, which is only held by adhesive which is part of the two lens technology, popped out. I was able to stick it back together but then the anti fogging got worse and then later it popped out again and I was unable to find it. So now I have to replace the lens.
Second the snapping feature that helps clamp the lens down after you magnetically connect it doesn’t work. You can usually get one side to snap in but the other side typically doesn’t snap in unless you find a way to connect the lens to one clamp then connect it to the goggles magnetically while keep the lens clamp to one side. Then clamping the opposite clamp to the lens.
Thirdly when powder gets on top of your lens it soaks into the venting foam and basically makes the anti fogging vent pointless for night skiing. Doesn’t work in the cold I guess.
I love these goggles but at least for the pipeline goggles it has been a hassle dealing with it.
