Mips Evolve Core
When a helmet is impacted at an angle, it can cause the head to rotate suddenly and violently. This is a common source of concussions and brain injury. The Mips® Evolve Core is a system designed to provide movement inside the helmet to help reduce rotational motion to the head in certain angled impacts, thereby lowering the risk of such injuries. The customizable solution makes it a perfect fit for a wide variety of helmets.

SIZING ADVICE
Use a soft measuring tape and measure the circumference of your head starting an inch above your eyebrows. If you are right in between sizes, most people choose the larger size as the FTA system will allow you to tighten the cage of the helmet.

VNT is a patented adjustable vent system that allows you to open and close top vents easily. This helps to retain or release heat depending on your circumstances. Whether you are hiking to some fresh pow, or enduring a freezing early run the VNT system helps you adjust!
The Fine Tune Adjustment or FTA dial helps you optimize your fit. You can easily loosen or tighten the feel of the helmet. You will still want to follow the sizing guide, but FTA can help if you are in between sizes or have a fit preference different than neutral.
AUDIO READY
All our helmets are audio ready. We designed the ear flaps to easily receive audio pucks. We recommend our Alta Helmet Headphones for the optimal experience.

Purchased this for my wife as a birthday gift and to support her new hobby of skiing. She was super excited to have a new helmet and to learn about MIPS and the safety standards behind that. We also purchased the bluetooth headphones and they fit perfectly within this helmet. I almost purchased another helmet on the website without the MIPS but there was a review about some wind noise when vents were closed so decided to spend the extra money for this one and she was not disappointed. She even decided to go online and order herself some goggles to fit the helmet and all of her other new Wildhorn gear.
I own every winter product from Wildhorn & just upgraded. I would recommend to anyone.
I purchased the Drift Pro as a replacement to the POC with Beats by Dr Dre after seven years of wear (now discontinued) and paired them with Alta headphones and the Maxfield Pro goggles. Nice kit altogether for sure. The helmet is light and comfortable. The vent was a welcome feature during some warmer days and repeats on Grouse Mountain at BC. The adjustable fit allowed me to “set it and forget it” with a great confident feel to the helmet. The ear pads are designed for headphones like the Alta’s but look like they accommodate other brands too. The matte finished is not only sharp but it hides scratches like one I got ducking a branch in the Mystic Maze chasing my grandkids at BeaverCreek. Integrated MIPS functionality is confidence inspiring, knowing you have current technology protecting your head. Overall great helmet and kit, well done Wildhorn!
Drift Pro Mips Unisex Snow Helmet
I’ve been out more than a half dozen times and loved my new helmet. Fits true to size and I really like the bungee type goggle holder on the back compared to the snap type I had on my old helmet. The magnetic chin strap is also a game changer.
