At Wildhorn Outfitters, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products, offering a best-in-class Limited Lifetime Warranty across our four major categories: Audio Electronics, Bags, Helmets, and Optics. Our comprehensive warranty policy is designed to provide peace of mind and showcase our commitment to exceptional service and product longevity.
General Coverage:
Wildhorn Outfitters provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all our products against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in components, materials and workmanship for the product's lifetime. There are product-specific exclusions and coverages as found below:
Specific Exclusions:
What is Not Covered:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Regular usage that naturally wears down products over time.
- Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, and other cosmetic issues that do not affect product functionality.
- Misuse and Abuse: Damage caused by improper use, accidents, or modifications not authorized by Wildhorn.
- Unauthorized Repairs: Damage resulting from repairs conducted by non-authorized service providers.
- Used products purchased from 3rd party re-sellers on Ebay or Amazon
- Open box items purchased from Wildhorn (a 1-year warranty still applies).
Product-Specific Coverage:
Audio Electronics:
- Craftsmanship, materials and Internal Components: Covered for the lifetime of the product.
- Battery: Covered for two years. If the battery doesn’t take a charge, or doesn’t comply with runtime expectations in first 2 years it can be replaced.
- Accidental Damage: One instance of accidental damage will be covered. Customer pays shipping both ways.
Soft Goods:
- Craftsmanship and materials: Covered for the lifetime of the product.
- Accidental Damage: For the first year, we cover one instance of accidental damage (e.g., rips, tears, water damage) with free repair or replacement. Customer pays shipping both ways.
Helmets
- Craftsmanship and materials: Covered for the lifetime of the product.
- Crash Replacement Program: Offers a 50% discount on a replacement helmet if involved in a crash within the first three years of purchase.
- Accidental damage is not covered (dropping on the ground etc..)
Optics
- Craftsmanship and materials: Covered for the lifetime of the product. This includes lens delamination (lens layers separating and allowing moisture in).
- Accidental Damage: For the first year, we cover one instance of accidental damage (e.g., drops, impacts, scratches) with free repair or replacement. (customer pays shipping both ways)
- Weather-related fogging is not covered. Fogging caused from moisture getting between the lens from delamination IS covered.
Additional Benefits:
- Loyalty Discount: Customers who use the warranty service will receive a 20% discount on their next purchase.
- Free Return Shipping: We cover shipping costs for returning defective products for repair or replacement. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the new or repaired item back to them.
- Eco-Friendly Initiatives: Customers can trade in old Wildhorn products for recycling and receive a discount on new purchases. Customers are responsible for return shipping when recycling. (Or similar trade-in model where used item gets donated to Share Winter or other)
Claim Process:
- Proof of Purchase: Customers must provide proof of purchase and be the original purchaser (what about gifts?). Used items bought from re-sellers are not eligible.
- Online Submission: Submit the warranty claim through the Wildhorn website using our Contact Form.
- Fast Evaluation: Claims are reviewed within 5-7 business days, ensuring a quick resolution.
- Resolution Options: Wildhorn will either repair the product, provide a replacement, or offer store credit if the product is discontinued.

- Comprehensive Support: Our customer support team is available via email to assist with warranty claims and technical support.
- Online Resources: We provide troubleshooting guides and FAQs on the Wildhorn website.
