So many good things to say about this bag, but it is not as big as it sounds. First the GOOD: Made in the USA, great construction, and appears to be bombproof. Now the BAD: This bag does not hold as much as you would think. I was replacing a cheap chineese-made bag that measured 26x12.4x14, thus approximately 4513.6 cu inches or 74L. I had this bag stuffed to the brim. The Big Mesa is supposedly 36x18.5x14 which actually comes out to 9324 cu inches or 152.7L, not the 90L stated. Either way, I transferred everything from the old bag to the Big Mesa and the Big Mesa is full, not popping at the seems full, but there's very little room left for anything else except maybe some small soft items that can be stuffed in. You would think that being more than 2x larger in cu inches the Big Mesa there would offer plenty of space, but there isn't. In fact, I think that the 90L statement is probably closer to the actual size than the cu inch measurement. After packing the Big Mesa, I took the actual measurements of the bag with it being full. They came out to 32x16x13. I'm not saying that there is some misinformation being given out, but....
CONCLUSION: So, do I like the bag - hell ya! Would I recommend it - you bet I would! This bag is so much better than my previous cheap piece of s**t bag I had before and I fully expect the Big Mesa to be around for years. However, just be aware that it is not quite as big as the dimensions seem and does not hold as much as you would think. It may just be me, my gear, and/or both, but for my uses, I didn't really gain the bigger bag that I was hoping for, instead I just got one that is bombproof and should last for years.
