Eric Jackson (E-Jack) is an American snowboarding icon. His signature model, Charwood Jet Black, features a unique strap design. The concept came from Eric's experiences in the backcountry where he rode through charred trees against the winter backdrop and felt the stoke. The silicone backing in the shape of an arrow represents his love of all things outdoors.

Maxfield Pro Photochromic Goggles are Phenonmial!

I have owned and/or tried several different styles of goggles over these past years. Most recently I purchased the Wildhorn Pipeline Goggles with several lenses for different light conditions, and while I liked them, the size was a bit big, causing difficulty breathing through my nose. A friend purchased a pair of Glade Fathom+ Photochromic Goggles, which he let me try. While I liked the Photochromic lens, I had the same problem with the goggles causing difficulty breathing through my nose. I called Glade and it was suggested I try the Adapt 2 Goggles, which I did, but the Adapt 2 had the same problem. With all of these goggles, I was continually having to push the goggles up.
When I saw that Wildhorn was coming out with Photochromic Goggles, and they were being offered in two sizes, I ordered the Maxfield Pro M Photochromic Goggles (the slightly smaller size). When I tried them on with my Wildhorn Highline helmet, I noticed they did not impact breathing through my nose at all. A couple of weeks ago I finally made it to the slopes and got to try them skiing Copper Mountain. During the week, conditions varied from bright sun to overcast and cloudy. These goggles performed as advertised. The field of vision was excellent. The Photochromic lens adjusted to the changing weather conditions seamlessly, always allowing for a clear view of the terrain. The fit with my Wildhorn Highline helmet was perfect, but for me, what was most exciting was that I could breathe through my nose all day without ever having to touch my goggles. These goggles are easily worthy of the 5-star rating I gave them. I highly recommend the Wildhorn Maxfield Pro Photochromic Goggles in whatever size will work best for you. These goggles are exceptional!

Don’t look back!

Fit was excellent with the Drift Pro Helmet and nice color match to the dusk matte. Field of vision was amazing and with clear unobstructed peripheral vision, big words to say “no blind spots.” We had a couple of partly cloudy days at BeaverCreek the perfect test and the lens was very responsive and clear. Also no unpleasant scratches going through some gnarly trees branches. As an Anon M3 user it was nice to not carry an extra lens and to free up pocket space. Highly recommend (no brainer when BOGO sale, one for me and one for my son in law) and well done Wildhorn for producing such a quality product at this price point. Go photochromatic and don’t look back but when you do no need to slow down.

Great goggles

Great in low light and sunny conditions. Could use a bit more contrast in mixed/shadowed.
